Yogarommet teach yoga adapted to our western lifestyle. A consistent practice of yoga helps develop a healthy balance between strength, flexibility, endurance and relaxation. The teachers at Yogarommet all study and practise the Iyengar Yoga, and the teaching are based on this method. The Iyengar method emphasizes precision, making it a form of yoga fitting for most students. We teach fundamental techniques with independent practice as a goal. We strive to offer adapted exercises so that our students may enjoy and benefit from yoga in a safe and efficient matter.

Our classes
Yoga with different programs and focus areas for each class, working on flexibility and strength. Learn the fundamental principals of yoga with basic through more challenging and in-depth exercises. A variety of helping tools like blocks, pillows, belts and chairs are taken in use. We focus on breathing throughout the class.
Yoga Level
Our classes are divided in levels 1, 1-2, 2, 2-3 and 3. Those new to yoga should choose level 1 and attend this level for a minimum of 8 classes. As basic techniques are achieved, one may continue to level 1-2, 2, 2-3 and then 3. Please ask our teachers if there is any uncertainty as to which level to choose.

Restorative Yoga
Restorative yoga for all levels, a class soothing for everyone, also for those with injuries, special needs and those who are pregnant and should avoid tough physical and demanding yoga. The classes consist of adaptable and safe exercises for the whole body using a variety of helping tools such as blocks, straps and blankets. We focus on breathing, chest, shoulders and hip-openers. Preliminary and conclusive relaxation is emphasized.
